PHILOXENIA (GREEK) = HOSPITALIY, FRIENDLINESS SHOWN TOWARDS STRANGERS

This is a family project started by four Greek brothers who want to share their love for food, life and community with the rest of the world. Already during their early childhood they had the chance to experience the world-renowned Greek hospitality (philoxenia) in their own home and garden as well as during their holidays with the whole family in their beloved homeland. They still have fond memories of those legendary summers on the island of Rhodes right in the middle of the Aegean. Times of joy and happiness always on the sunny side of life.

Let`s bring back those childhood memories when almost every weekend their family had guests. It was a continual coming and going of family and friends. Everybody was welcome to join in and eat and drink with us. Even more so at special occasions like birthdays, namedays and other holidays when there were even more reasons to celebrate life and enjoy good times together.

In the middle of the Covid19 pandemic the idea came up to bring this experience back to life by hosting picnics where no wish remains unfulfilled. Like in the good old days when their mom and dad spread out a blanket and laid out some food we could enjoy right on the beach. We want to share this special feeling with you, our valued guests. No matter if couples our groups – you can escape your daily routine and enjoy some quality time together. Whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable – we at PicnicPals will take care of it!
